Do I Have a Personal Injury Case?

Free Ontario quiz — 10 plain-language questions, about 3 minutes. Get an honest read on your situation.

How it works

Lawyers weigh three things: liability (was someone else at fault?), damages (how serious are the injuries and losses?), and timing (are any legal deadlines at risk?). Answer one question per screen and we'll score your situation across all three.

Your answers stay in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere unless you submit the review form at the end.

Frequently asked questions

Is this quiz legal advice?

No. This quiz is general information only and is not legal advice. Using it does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Speak to a licensed Ontario lawyer about your situation.

Can the quiz tell me if I will win my case?

No, and it never tries to. It only tells you whether your situation has the markers personal injury lawyers look for — clear liability, significant damages, and no timing problems — so you know whether a free case review is worth your time.

What is the 2-year rule in Ontario?

Ontario's Limitations Act generally gives you two years from the date you discovered (or should have discovered) your claim to start a lawsuit. Miss it and you can lose the right to sue entirely, which is why the quiz asks about timing.

What should I do right after a car accident or injury in Ontario?

Get medical attention, document everything (photos, names, reports), keep receipts and pay records, avoid signing insurer documents or accepting money before getting advice, and talk to a lawyer early — deadlines can be shorter than you think.

Is the quiz free?

Yes. The quiz is free, and requesting a case review through the form is free.
